Wingcopter has developed an extremely efficient delivery drone called Wingcopter that combines the advantages of classic multicopters (vertical take-off and landing, no additional infrastructure) with those of fixed-wing aircraft (fast long-distance flights) thanks to its patented tilt-rotor mechanism. This allows to easily supply even very remote areas with up to 6 kg of urgently needed goods.

Societies across the world face problems with the supply chains of urgently needed goods. Medical products, for example, often cannot be delivered to remote areas in time because of poor infrastructure, leading to unnecessary suffering or even death. Other important products such as spare parts or tools frequently get stuck in traffic or need too much time to be delivered over the last mile.
